Consists of plain stranded copper cores insulated with XLPE. Armouring is Steel wire which provides mechanical protection, hence the cable can withstand higher stresses, be buried directly and can be used in external or underground projects. A black PVC sheath holds all components of the cable together and provides additional protection from external stresses.
